Landfill gas extraction unit: HAASE Manifold Station

HAASE manifold stations are available in different designs. Prefabricated concrete elements are used on slopes and on flat ground. Manifold stations in the form of PE-wells are a cost-efficient solution. Spandrel-braced containers can be placed right on top of a landfill body. Here, the connections are made from the bottom side. They are designed in a way that there is no risk of disconnection in the event of settlements or movements in the landfill body.

A pipe that delivers gas from a collector well to the gas extraction unit ends inside of a manifold station on the edge of the landfill body. Here, all the gas pipes are joined together on a manifold and it is possible to monitor and adjust the gas quantity delivered from every single well. HAASE developed a special system to remove water plugs caused by condensation. We call this system the "pressure-controlled drainage of gas pipelines".
